ANZAC reflections concert 26th April at Folk Club

It’s time for ANZAC REFLECTIONS this coming Sunday evening at folk club. 26TH April 2016.   7.30-9.30pm, doors open from 7pm.

We invite you all to come along and enjoy our evening or memoirs and memories reflected in song, music and poetry all presented by multiple talented local Christchurch artists.

The audience for ANZAC Reflections will be moved by heart-warming songs that draw on the real emotions that surround conflict, intermingled with the lighter moments generated by comradery and readings of touching prose to make a rounded whilst poignant show.

ANZAC Reflections features a special programme of beautiful music and readings commemorating those who have given their lives in conflicts throughout the world, and reflecting on the effect war has on us all.

Those performing will include the Women in Harmony choir; Gary Elford, Trish Waters, Dave Hart, Tony Kiesanowski, Judi Smitheram, Russell Dann, Hamish Wilson, the trio of Martin Kraakman, Barry & Marguerite Clubb, NorWest Brass Band, Dave Evison, the Christchurch Andrew’s Sisters and more.

A night of talented performances, and kinship. All welcome.

The evening’s performances are coordinated by Judi Smitheram

Venue: Irish Society Hall: 29 Domain Terrace, Spreydon, Christchurch.

Entry fee: Members $8. / Non-members $12 / Students with ID $5
Bar open / tea & coffee available 1/2 time, no eftpos please bring cash.
